Mom and Dad began raising sheep back in 1985 when they acquired a small flock of sheep.
They wanted something to "keep the weeds down."

We have worked at improving the quality of our wool and are now happily spinning our weed-eaters' fleeces into handmade one-of-a-kind products. We offer hand and machine spun yarn.

Second Class Raw Fleece Available in 1 pound increments. Priced to sell. This is a mixture of the dirtier parts of our fleeces, the part that we removed when we skirted the fleeces. There is more dirt and vegetable matter in them (the really dirty parts have been thrown away). If you don’t mind having to wash your fleece an extra time or two to remove the extra grease and if you don’t mind picking out some hay and grass, this is a great deal for you.

Clouds This is a composite of all of our "second class" wool, meaning that it has more vegetable matter in it than the raw fleeces that we sell. It has been professionally washed, carded, and processed into "clouds". This is great for all of your felting projects or it is clean enough to be used for roving and spinning if you don't mind having to pick out some bits of hay.

We are pleased to bring out our stunning yarns. We hope you'll enjoy nature's beauty and the dazzle we have added to our sequined yarn.  With our specialty yarns we will only sell the total amount available, as the amounts are not large enough to split. We offer our Natural yarns for purchase by the ounce to allow you just the yarn quantity you need. Imagine your one-of-a-kind creations using these natural yarns.

Auntie Annie recommends that whenever you machine wash or dry anything made with machine washable yarn, you use a sweater or lingerie bag to insure that the garment stays as nice as possible. The yarn is less likely to pill and the garment will maintain its shape.

We want you to enjoy your purchases a long time. Just a reminder: 100% wool yarn
and articles made with it can't be washed like the acrylics.  It must be hand washed in cold water, no agitation, and dried flat.  We'll be sending these instructions enclosed with your purchase.
